Our company is using AirMagnet Survey Pro and I am very happy using it. I have a question and i hope you can help me. My question is, How does the AirWise feature in the AirMagnet Survey Pro calculates the overall signal coverage? What are the factors(e.g. FSPL,data points) involve in the calculations of the overall coverage?

Thanks for developing such a wonderful product.

AirMagnet Survey calculates signal coverage based upon the following information:

(1) Measured RSSI and data points
(2) AP location (if available by user input)
(3) RF environment factor (if available by user input)

FSPL is used only when (2) and (3) are specified by the user. For a given location, its RSSI is most impacted by the measured RSSI and data points adjacent to that location. AP location and RF environment (antennuation factor), if available, are used for adjustment.
