Google Mountain View WiFi network a success? |

On the first anniversary of its Mountain View Wi-Fi network, Google's Alternate Access Team blogs about the state of its wireless network in Mountain View, CA. One year ago, Google's product manager Minnie Ingersoll made the launch announcement. Google says that the network's 400+ mesh routers cover about 12 square miles and 25,000 homes to serve approximately 15,000 unique users each month. Here is the map of the network.
